Hi all. Anyone own or reviewed the SF G3 Nitrolon? I think I am leaning back towards the Incand. side of things. Secondly, anyone know where to buy them (Michgan area?). I'm thinking its a nice cheaper alternative to a 9P. Only complaint I have about SF lights is that the darn stock caps dont suit me well. I like having the clicky tailcap standard, NOT as an additional $30 option.

Keep in mind surefire aims it's lights at tactical users, and a clicky isn't an option for most of them. and if you do decide to get one for you G3, keep in mind that the aluminium clicky will mess up the G3's plastic body if you get it on/off often. so just put in replacement batteries trough the front.

I didn't know that. Thanks. I'm basically buying it as a carry light for work. Need something bright for going into houses at night.

Just bought the G3 Nitrolon today at Cabela's today for 58.99. Nice light. LIghts up a room a lot better than my 6D mag with nite ize LED. Next will contemplate the click tailcap and lanyard for it. Will make a holster for it myself out of leather. This is a very nice, lightweight flashlight. will probably be my new duty carry light. Thanks for the input everyone on CPF. Will post pics of the light differences when I have time.

Had one a couple of weeks now. I put in a P91 and was at first disappointed by the medium flood nature of that lamp-wanted more throw and didn't know what I had. If your into more of a thrower, consider an EO-9 from Lumens Factory. I am happy with it now.

Can you I use the EO-9 in the G3 without heating issues?
