Sup all, I'm looking at the Boker BO006 xenon flashlight that claims to produce 80 lumens. I did a search and found nothing (here and with google). Anybody here have one or can review this flashlight and their opinion on it. Help much appreciated!
I thought Brinkmann made BBQ's.I wouldn't buy a product "from" a manufacturer not known for making those sorts of products. For example, I wouldn't buy a flashlight with a knife, gun, or other brand on it. Examples are Boker as a knife manufacturer and Ka-Bar, Mossberg, Remington, and others as gun manufacturers. I would go with a light that has its own manufacturer's name proudly displayed on it, like Streamlight or Fenix or whatever.
If you want a decent but cheap xenon light, try the Brinkmann Maxfire at Target.
That, and flashlights. If you go to brinkmann.net and mouse over "Shop," you'll see that lights are a significant part of what they do. Also, notice the "Remington Gear" section. In stores, it's probably just marked "Remington" and not "Brinkmann," and the manufacturer would be unknown. For example, I have an old "Mossberg"-branded light that looks suspiciously like many Coast designs (weird batteries, exaggerated claims, etc.). I wouldn't trust the Remington-branded items because of this (unless I knew and trusted the manufacturer).I thought Brinkmann made BBQ's.
