New to custom lights and of course I have questions

I have started researching custom lights and I found Mac's Customs. They look fantastic and also appear to have outstanding performance as well. I am looking for a small package that throws the most light possible for outdoor use. I want it to be as small as possible so I will always have it with me. Which model would be the best of both worlds and why. Also can anyone help me understand the useable distance of the different types of led and try vs single. I know I am not explaining myself very well, but it is difficult to ask proper questions when you are just learning. Thank you.

All of my lights are basically a medium style beam which is more of a flood / Light a whole area up style beam. The ML-EDC has the most throw of my EDC lights and the Deep reflectored XM-L Series have a decent amount of throw. If you want strictly a light that will throw then a new stlye M*G LED thows real well.
