Hi all,
I was just looking for a light more powerful than an LED. I love my LED's, don't take me wrong, for their advantages (have a DBS, C2H, RC-N3, M20 and a SF C2 w/ M60L). I wanted to see what thousands of lumens look like, though, instead of hundreds. I see a lot of comparison shots here, but prices range a lot and they were not included in the shots.
I am looking for a bright light around $500 (cheaper doesn't hurt :laughing that is portable and hopefully focusable, so that I can adjust flood and range (unless there is some problem with focusable lights that I don't know about). Common batteries would be a plus, but I see most of the HID's have proprietary batteries.
Here are two I came up with: AE Xenide 25W and Microfire Warrior III. By the way, is this store any good? http://thesportsoutdoorstore.com/ccp0-prodshow/MOPK-3500R.html
Thanks, g.
