Hi everyone, this is my first post here but I've been visiting the forum for a while...

Anyway I recently got REALLY into home made Flashlights (Or torches as we call them in the UK)
So much so that my prototype home made torch (which has taken me about a year to make) is now for sale and has its own website!

I'm not sure how well they will do but there are not too many different HID flashlights out there just yet (at least not here in the UK anyway) and it will be nice if not ALL flashlights on ebay are made in China!
Here is the ebay link which also has a link to the website. Link removed.

(Not 100% sure if I can post a weblink as this is my first post so if not just search ebay for "Hidmonster 35w HID" )

35w is a bit tame by the latest HID standards but I do have a 75W and 100W in work as well!
Anyway I'd be glad the hear forum members comments!

Looks like a HID Headlight kit from a car that has been put on a stick. Front lens looks like it is designed for flooding, not really what most people are looking for in a HID

Maybe post some information, beam profile would be necessary before shelling out ~$230 for something like this

While I admit it looks unusual, it's far more original than most of the stuff I've seen on eBay.

The 35w isnt meant to be a long throw spotlight just a bright general purpose light which can run either from the battery or an external 12v source.
Yes £150 is a lot of money especially when you can buy something the same spec for a lot lot less.
I'm trying to make something here which is different from other lights, not made of plastic, not made in china, made using the best parts I could find for the job not the cheepest..
I dont expect to sell many of these, if I sold 10 a year that would be great! But if I do not sell any then I dont really mine as I have what I want which is a well made torch which will last me a good few years.
