New Ultrafire Cree flashlight at Dealextreme!

Looks like the replacement Cree Unit is being tried out in all sorts of CR123 Xenon G&P (Surefire? ) type heads.

I ordered on of their own DX branded Cree flashlights, so that should "satisfy" my niche for 18650 powered Cree Flashlights (pretty much any other battery type is fair game ;) ) I'd like to see them come out with a couple of small ones -- such as a 1-CR123, or even converting their small CR2 light to Cree.

Another good point though is that they have Cree stars for $6.75 shipped, and several good looking host lights for well under $20. My Elly + Cree combo that I already have has already proven fairly useful, and you can get that for <$15 + the effort of making a couple solder joints.

Scattergun,

Looks like Kyle got back to you on the product webpage. The Ultrafire body they're selling the Cree assembly in also accepts D26 lamps, which means for $24.95, we can get a drop-in Cree replacement for any D26 compatible lights.

The reflector seems to be too shallow for a Cree to have decent throw, I wonder what the beam is like.

I am curious too. I though the Cree would need to have a deeper reflector than what would fit into a standard D26-compatible bezel. Hope someone will be able to post some pics of the beam.
