Well, I wasn't paying attention when I ordered on Amazon. Ended up ordering the 4000K by mistake. Hopefully the cancellation will go through.

Still glad I bought mine.
Personally though, not a fan of the U.I.
And really not a fan of that clip.
Gets hung up too easily trying to clip it all the way into a pocket.

I dont like the stock clip either
fwiw, post #3 has a couple of clip options.

as far as the UI,
it can be as simple as click on, hold to ramp, clic off..
and, hold from off will always start from lowest mode and ramps up by continuing to hold...

It is a very full featured UI and does require reading the manual to change preferences.. details and link to manual in post #8.

I will be happy to help answer any UI questions.

If you tell me what kind of UI you like, I will try to figure out if Anduril can be set up with similar features for you.

glad the 1H from off (hold from off) ramping option seems useful to you
the speed can also be set slower if desired

you can also ramp down... there are 2 ways (forgive me if Im being Mr. Obvious):

1. when ramping up, release the button very briefly, and then hold the button down again

2. at any time when the light is on, do 2H (One full Click, plus Hold a second button press)

fwiw
here are two more Anduril UI commands that I use a lot

From On, 3C will toggle the ramping style: stepped or smooth
The number of steps can be changed.. default is 5 steps in Simple Mode, and 7 steps in Advanced Mode.

From Off, 3C will blink out the battery voltage.. I like to recharge any time it goes below 3.5V. Its OK not to check, Anduril will step down the output if Voltage goes below 3V, and will shut the light off at 2.7V.

and a note about the Aux lights..
their default High brightness can (should) be changed..
I recommend not keeping the default bright aux, due to how fast they drain the battery..(less than a week)..

and btw, physical lockout does not work completely, the way it does in other lights..

loosening the head does turn off the Aux, but the tailbutton is still powered. Imo it is better to lower the Aux brightness (dim lasts about 10 months)

This is a really good looking light. And the price. Do they make this model with a single emitter and without the silly ui? Something that can sustain more than 40 lumens would be nice.

Hey, really appreciate that. Thank you. Though no need. Was fortunate to find a video on YouTube that helped me to configure mine just the way I like it.

Great to hear.. if you get a chance, please share a link to the video here in this thread. It may help others new to Anduril.

Thanks for the useful video..

He did a good job covering a lot of material, including all the blinkies. (most of which I avoid)

I do like to use the bike flasher, when Im a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
