Newbie here, need torch advice

Hi folks, been bitten by the Torch bug, and im looking at buying some LED torches, anyone recommend me some top quality torches, money isnt really a problem , just want quality nice looking torches, ideas folks

ps dont want too big ones, small and medium ones are my thing

What is a good size? Small as compared to?
What output?
What batteries?
What beam pattern?
What will you use it for?
Would you like multiple modes? What about user programmable lights?
What lights do you use now?
What do you mean by no price limit? Do you mean you will be willing to spend the money for a fully custom light or is you limit under $300?

Look at the Orbs. Extremely small and well made.

A Surefire 6P is the classic small metal tactical light that has been around many years. It is very well made and guaranteed for life, has many accessories and upgrades, and the company has pretty good customer service. A lot of soldiers and cops bet their life on them and they are only about 40 bucks on Ebay. You can spend a lot more but not really get much more quality and you can upgrade the 6P to whatever suits your needs. I put a $12 R2 LED in mine and it suits my needs very well as an all-around light.

this is the thing, im not sure whats out there, i just want suggestions of good quality bright torches , i have a jetbeam 3 on its way and im liking the way that looks , so i guess torches like that im looking for, as well as smaller ones, the torch is for general use, and for a hobby really (as in collecting)
