Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone is currently using rechargable batteries in the Aleph McClickie-Mule with the LE that Don is currently selling? Thanks for the time. Vince

The LE's that Don has for sale in the latest wave use the NextGen converter, which is primary only (actually, I'm not sure about 3.0v RCR123's - anyone?). But you can order one of the Mule sets from Don without an LE, and then order an LE that supports rechargeables from the Sandwich Shoppe.

Not to hijack this thread...but does anyone know the dimensions of the Aleph McClickie-Mule or have any photographs comparing it to any surefires?

In post #186, Wayne explained the use of Li-Ion's with the NG converter. I would guess that in a typical case, once the battery has settled down to say 3.6V, the driver would be in regulation. Prior to that, the LED would be driven at current levels above the designed 400 mA and be brighter.

Thank you sir for the response.:)
