DBK Video ........................................

Yeah ... I had to buy one .. ( Sorry BM ) . They made me do it ! ( Who ? )
Anyways .. The grip ...... is so LEGO ( blocky ) .. It's almost like .... half finished ! ( Half baked ? ) Yeah .... For my hands , bad ju ju .
Nothing nice to say about the grips . Sheath ? Not great either . Again , seems half finished . Almost like some one decided ...... That's enough , I'm going home now!

HRC ? - 55HRC file .. 50% of the time it skated and the other 50% of the time I got it to bite .. Does that mean ? 55HRC ...... Hardness . I don't care what knife it is but 55HRC is soft for a knife blade . Yeah , it could be worse ! Butt & it should be better !
Just came , so put to the rope ASAP .. Enjoy the antics of DBK for now since they went to the trouble ..

OK - Just came off the rope ! 30-Sept 24
Factory edge did a 50 slice roller .
I fully reground the edge on the wet stone grinder ( knife sharpener ) , which currently wears a 80 grit wheel !
On the reground edge the knife returned a 550 slice roll and if mem serves I noticed the roll around 350 slices .
A quick N dirty wood strop had the knife slicing printer paper again .

The spine is crisp , but I don't have a nice bit of scrapping wood .. I did touch up the spine on the grinder which helped .
No issues with a ferro rod .
$46 Oz Bananas to my door , 550 slices = Around 8c a slice for the value index .
How would I rate this knife ? 6.5 / 10 .. That handle is unforgivable ! It's going to need work . The sheath has already been worked on ( was raining the other day , so ) . Would I take this knife bush as is = Hell No ! If the grip can be reworked to something I can live with , then the edge retention is ok if not actually good for the $$ spent .

Video Soon !
