Just got my Ti Aleph 1 Head (from a CPFer) and a DB917-Seoul From the shoppe and I must say

WOW! This thing Is what Im talking about! INTENSE Hotspot with beautifull spill with Incredible Output! This Is my First Aleph 1 Head and am happy Its Titanium!

This Is the Farthest throwing LED Light Ive ever Had! Even more throw than my M375 "skalamander"
Im using It on a E2L body with a Mclicky. This Is and my PD-S are now my EDC.

Cant believe how much throw this baby has! My first big Chunk of Titanium and I love it!

I also ordered a Ti Bezel Ring for the Aleph 1 and It looks drop dead gorgeous!

Aleph 1's Rock!

Thank you for the kind words!

Haha... Ill try to get one of those.

Its much smaller than I thought too.

Great EDC

I can testify that the A3 and the LE w/Seoul that you are running is an absolute killer combination. Best that I have seen so far.

LOL, Im cool with the Ti Head.

Oh man, This thing is a MONSTER THROWER. So small, so much output and so much throw, Its truly a sabre and great light.

Cant wait to take It to the Flashapalooza tomorrow Where Its dark.

I'm going to take some beamshots for sure. To show the throw of this beast.
It demolishes the throw In my Milkyspit Optimator.
I do think Im in love. :)

the DB917-S just drops in without any change or mod to the reflector right? what's the difference between the DB917-S and the NG750-S?

are you planning on getting a Ti body and tailcap to make a Ti set? i love the A1 size head. the A3 is alittle too big but if you want throw, the A3 is the way to go. the A19 and TB's head makes it look like a light saber with almost any body~

Edit: got my answer and the difference between the DB917 and NG750 here,

http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=152498&highlight=NG750+DB917

but is there a difference in the beam compared to the stock LE and the DB917 or is it just brighter?
sorry, hope it doesnt seem like i'm jacking your thread.

the DB917-S just droped In with no problem, with no reflector mod.
I think the DB917 Just drives It a little harder (I dont really know though).
I think Its just brighter.

Oh, and Yeah... I am going to take some beamshots comparing with my Milky Lights.

There is another important difference between the NG750 and the DB917. I confirmed this with others on CPF and with the Shoppe.

The NG750 is limited to 3V and should not be used with 3.7V LiIon cells. I can't imagine how bright the DB917 is with the Seoul because the NG750 I had was scorching bright!
