The batts are nice and snug, and the tail cap (on/off switch) is screwed down as tight as it can be, yet the LEDs flicker rather badly, sometimes even flickering off for a moment. Does anyone out there w/ one of these have the same problem? Is there a fix?

Is the "flickering' at a regular frequency,(high or low), or does it seem random/intermittent?

I'm asking because I've had a similar sounding experience with a couple of LEDs used to light up some of my instruments.
MY two different LEDs ultimately had to be replaced because of the rapid pulsing/flashing

hope that's not the case with yours....
-Mr.Telephony, where are you??!!

It's definitely intermittent/random flickering, no pattern. But it happens the whole time the light is on.

I've had one of these on loan for a week or so, and mine (his) does this same exact thing. Icky poo.
At times, the flashlight is almost unusuable because of this.

As far as I can determine, the rotary switching mechanism is at fault, and this fault is supposedly being worked on by the manufacturer.

I bought a Nightbuster too. It flickers, sure enough. I can stop it pretty well by twisting the cap switch on and off a whole bunch. Grind it smooth. It is irritating.

It's kind of funny how the description on Glowbug's site states the light "just won't flicker". Has there been a recall on the light yet?
