NIMH - HOW MANY CHARGES FOR FULL CAPACITY

More than 3.

Here's the averaged data for a set of 20 Vapextech 2700mAh AAs (Like all other 2700mAh cells I've come across I'd not recommend these.)

2290.0
2365.9
2360.8 There is one celll that got tossed which did drop the average if it is removed the average is above cycle 2.

After three cycles I got too bored with it to continue as it was seriously tedious running these. The capacity testing was done on an Angeleyes (http://www.kaidomain.com/WEBUI/ProductDetail.aspx?TranID=4341) charger from KD which seems to agree well enough with a Maha C9000 charger on the same cells.

They were charged for 24hr after the lights went green on a Vanson BC1-HU branded by 7dayshop (They seem to have stopped selling this one which is a pity) as of all the chargers I own it seems to pack in the most charge. I'd get more of the Vansons if I could get them in the UK at a decent price.

Hi.

I have an angel eyes , great value, can you get it to discharge only?

Mine does. Just hit the mode button till it goes to discharge which it does before "Refresh".

Having been really, really bored one day I can state with confidence that it cuts off at 1.00V. Others cut off at 0.9V or 0.8V but the difference in terms of available energy seems to be minimal - AFAIK the C9000 cuts off at 0.9V and the figures on the same cells are within 5%.

Personally I'm not keen on discharging below 1V - others may have different feelings with hard information to back them up.

Hello John,

In the cycle testing that I ran, it seemd that the Eneloop cells continued to gain a little capacity over about 100 cycles.

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop? :)
