Nitecore diffuser and filter kit

Nice catch.

It's a bitty puzzling for me though.

Multi-functions diffuser and red filter set.
1. batter kit
<<< Unless it's a typo, do we use this as a baton?
2. camp light
3. red filter
4. beam profile on red filter
<<<
5. traffic wand
6. performance as traiffic wand
<<< Er, so what's the difference with No. 5? :duh2:

I wish the diffuser would come in different shapes that don't remind me of something else.
Lumapower Encore's wand is a good example.

Not sure about the other accessories, but a red filter for the D10 would be nice.

Options for some other Nitecores: the Surefire F04 diffuser and F05 filter fit well on the D20 and with a squeeze on the Extreme.

@Zeruel:

If you follow the link, you will see a picture. The numbers refer to the small pictures on the right side. So, i.e. No. 5 shows the diffusor and red filter attached, while No. 6 shows it in operation.

I guess it is composed of a red filter and a diffusor tip. You can either use the red filter alone, the diffusor tip alone or both combined as a red traffic wand. And without the lamp, the red filter seales the diffusor tip and you can put one or two batteries in there acting as a battery holder.

ah.... very good.

So, the difference between 5 and 6 is.... off and on.

I've found that a water bottle cap fits both the D10 and D20 pretty well and makes an excellent diffuser. I've also tried a round toothbrush travel tube, and it works fairly well as a tailstand lamp.

This would of course be the whitish-clear type of plastic.
