Does anyone have any comments / opinions regarding the somewhat unique(?) discharge graph curve pictured ~1/3 down this product page?

Apparently, they designed the regulator circuit to better mimic the discharge curve of NiMH batteries at somewhat higher midpoint voltage (around 1.35-1.4 V). This could be useful for devices that have battery charge indicators. With fully regulated cells, the indicators show full until fully discharged and then suddenly drop.

XTAR has A and AA, said to put out some RF noise that might interfere with a battery powered radio.

Rechargeable D Cells In 2024

Long story short, I have a new CCRadio 2E Enhanced radio and, aside from AC, it takes four D cells. AC will be the primary power source, DC for backup. I'd rather not leave primary cells in it for fear of leakage. Also, I'd rather not use adaptors as I would need 12 AA NiMH cells. Are there any...
