I switched batteries and the light will not turn on.....cleaned contacts and threads. What else could go wrong....kinda stumped....

My guess is wrong kind of top on the battery. You need a small button-top battery for the Nitecore SRT7. The positive contact is recessed & flat top / large button top batteries (over .3" diameter button) don't make connection with the positive contact.I switched batteries and the light will not turn on.....cleaned contacts and threads. +1 I put a small neodymium magnet on any flat top cell for srt7. I think that when I recently went to high drain it actually got brighter too. I'll have to test and verify.
