I'm lusting after this tiny monster in a big way, and I need to justify my purchase of a battery charger to "the boss."

Um, it's got a locator beacon and voltage indication function? If it didn't, I'd really go for the T60CS instead 🙂 Even the neutral TM11 isn't all that great tint -- I find my neutral Skyray King better.

Light, batts and charger...bit over $300. To keep boss from killing you...another $300. So $600 more/less. Sure you want to be talked into it? Ok, untill you buy it you will be climbing the walls while desire eats you. Plan a nice 3 day vacation to keep the boss happy...make it a cabin in the woods...of course you must get a bright light to find your way to the club house for dinner. And as you know, nothing less than 2000 lumen will do. Good luck 🙂

Wait few years and u will be able to get one for under $100. In 1999 a friend HAD to get the revolutionary holygrain1 megapixel Nikon camera. Now you can get an 18 MP for HALF that 1999 price. Buying the latest and greatest is for suckers.

Go ahead and buy it and turn off your main breaker in the home and use it as a candle and see what happens.

Do it do it do it! You'll never regret getting something that you really really want.😀 Did that help?

I'd talk you into it but I'm personally waiting for the Nitecore TM20, but I don't know when that will come out.

I'm happy to see you guys have my best interests in mind! 2000 lumens in hand is screaming, "do it!"

Well, as long as your wallet is not screaming something else...or the boss...I say go for it! Myself I tend to like a lot of different lights...more play than anything else. And Christmas is around the corner $$$$$ too. So I would be hesitant right now to spend that much on any one light.

I have the Nitecore TM11 and have no regret that I spent what it costs.

It is compact and can handle most all 18650 batteries (version three of the TM11) and Surefire 123 batteries if a charger is out of reach.

I have a second one ordered too. Also the Eagletac M3C4 diffusion filter fits on the front for the best flood light out there.

As for money and cost just look around this site for what other people have spent on their lights and the cost of the TM11 becomes a rather small issue. 😎

Personally I'd rather talk you into a JetBeam RRT-3. It's not all flood and can throw pretty well. It's got more mass so it can handle the heat better. It's got more available light levels. And, I think the RRT-3 has a smarter battery setup than the TM11.

If you bought a Spark SP6 CW 3500 Lumen CREE XM-L LED Flashlight you would not need to get a charger...just a thought...

That is a good point, but the reason I wanted the TM11 was because I wanted most of all a flood light.

If you are the kind of person who likes to be the first to have and try out a new product, then you might wait until the Nitecore TM15 & TM20 are released.

I am the kind that would rather have the third version of a light that has been out in the market and in the field for a few years to work out any problems. The TM11 I have is the third version of this light and some of the prior problems have been fixed.

For me I live in an earthquake and fire danger area where I will need a proven light for an emergency. I need dependability more than I need the latest technology.
