I used only the Nichia NSPW500BS, its best to fork over a little over $200 and get a hundred at $2.05 each than paying $5 for one and $7.50 for FedEx.
Many many members here will gladly pay a couple dollars for these, they are basically what Peter uses save he asks for the BS-1 ranking which is whiter or warmer in color rendition.
Of the hundreds of Brinkmann Legend AAA 21/23 12volt battery and 10 ohm resistor in a tube spacer I made this is an excellant LED, being moderately overdriven as in the case of this mod it performs outstandingly, brighter than a stock AA Minimag.
