No press pass for me. I'll most likely stick to photographing stuff in the SF/Strider booths. That depends if I can even get in there with my camera in the first place.

I'd happily *chip in* to an image hosting solution for Shelby, and any other deserving members who need an image host...

An image is worth a thousand words... or headaches... Example -- a while back, when the A2 was "news"... (not a real quote, but you get the idea)

"The A2 is similar to the E2, but is slightly longer... Its head looks just the same, but the connecting area from the head to the body is slightly rounded. It's also a wee bit longer than the E2, and has a new tailcap switch that looks like a 1/4"-thick disc, and blah blah blah.."

I was just looking at http://www.hostrocket.com, and noticed that their plans were pretty reasonable. ($10/mo for 750MB storage and 37GB bandwidth)

Um. I'd HOPE that would be enough bandwidth for CPF... (err... maybe not...)

I know CPF is already pretty taxed with bandwidth as it is, so I doubt you'd want to even consider image hosting here, unless once again, we can chip in for it...

I know I would love to see more photos... I also know that stuff costs money, and am willing to chip in...

Just a thought.

i would love to see a high-res thumbnail archive of your images...it would make changing my desktop background a lot easier!

i believe cpf is running a 35gb bndwidth currently, and going over...

Thanks, men! I will look into all options. However, if all goes well as planned, I shall have my own website within the next 2 months. It will contain a seperate section with a password that will allow people such as yourself to go into the treasure trove of pics that I've taken in the past couple of years.
My friend and I are designing Paul's site. After we are done, we're moving onto my own hopefully.

I too am hoping you will have a camera at SHOT. I don't have a press pass so not going to risk being asked to leave. This is my first time so not sure how strict they are.

They are very strict regarding non-press cameras being used in plain sight.

Last year in Vegas I was caught by some undercover anti-camera security taking some photos with my air-camera (sound effects too). I was taken into a backroom and beaten.
