Hi as promised I used the UV to see if it woud cure Norland 61 as I purchased some awhile back but have not had the use for it yet.

I put a drop about half the size of a pencil eraser maybe not quite that much and it took maybe 3 or 4 minutes to cure. It did just fine and I got to see how the Norland works great.

For those of you that are thinking about getting one of these there are plenty of P7 in neutral white

MC-E's in warm white - neutral white - cool white.

There are R2 in warm white - neutral - - and cool in the latest bins.

K2TFFC 300 lumen drop ins are also stocked in neutral and warm white.

UV drop ins will be back in stock Tuesday or Wed. at the latest.


Please remember that Warm Whites are 4500k - Neutral Whites are 6500K and cool whites are 10000K




Chuck64 your P7 came out great, nice neutral white no blue almost buttery. Great hotspot for a drop in. Here is a picture.

Pretty good for a drop in.

I am quite happy that you were able to change my initial order from 5 levels to 3 levels. To tell ya the truth I dont really have 'any' use for Strobe nor SOS. Hey, I see that you are offering a UV drop-in but I dont see a price. Can you let me know what you are charging so that I can decide if I need one? Thank you, for your skill and your time.

Members have been asking about throw and such, here are some beam shots of a P7 Mop with a one of the newer R2 E01 bin cool white bins drop in.
These new bins are rated at 107 @ 350ma and these are run @ 1.4amps putting lumens around 300

The other picture is a R2 XRE E01 top and an R2 XPE E01 both in Drop ins. The XPE is surprising in a MOP it is smooth with a nice hotspot and fair amount of spill

Both Crees are in smooth reflectors and the P7 is a mop

As you can see these R2 have great hotspots and great throw.

They have been in production for a little over a week and they quoted 23 weeks turn around on special orders. Then it will take about 6 or 7 days for EMS. I am hoping early up next week. I will try to get an update from manufacturer later this week.

I have all the other parts for when they arrive

Got my P7, MC-E, and UV drop-ins today. They are terrific!! Great workmanship, and best beam I've seen from a P7. I'm not going to re-adjust anything--they're perfect. The MC-E is my favorite, tho. Nice natural color and super bright on two primaries. Thanks nailbender!

Woohoo, I'm in! Got some extra cash yesturday. Dave, I would like a P7 and an R2 (for my SF 6P and Cabela's 6V XPG), Cool White tint, smooth reflector for better throw, and with the three levels of light output.

$65 for the P7 and $30 for the R2, correct?

I have a few questions regarding your drop-ins:
Does it start with high every time or does it remember the last setting?
Is there any difference in brightness between the P7 and MC-E drop-in?
Would you ship one of your drop-ins to germany and how much would be shipping in that case?

Hi eric

1. It remembers your last setting.

2. If you go with a warm white MC-E compared to a cool white the warm white will be a small amount dimmer but most say they can see colors better with the warm whites but yes the cool whites are brighter. If you are comparing cool whites between P7 & MC-E there is little difference anymore. The MC-E is a bit more floody.

3. Yes I will ship to Germany, it is $5 more.
