Hello cowboyway,

I include a pair of alligator jacks on wires that can be used to pack charge many of the adapters I sell, but not all of them. The 6AA-18AA series adapters for mags can definitely be pack charged but the adapter must be completely removed from the body of the mag in order to attach the charging jacks.

I only suggest any pack charging of NIMH or NICD cell configurations that are entirely serial. Any Series/Parallel configuration of NIMH/NICD or arrangement of li-ion cells should be charged as individuals cells out of the pack.

Hopefully I can get some 12AA>4D done in the next 2 weeks, then move on to the 15AA and 18AA sizes. I'm also going to try making a 21AA>6D. I think this would be very doable by just cutting down or re-locating the spring in the tailcap.

Bare they might fit but any sort of adapter that adds length is going to make that impossible. 2.5D is really ideal for this configuration...

I will definitely put an assortment of 18650 side-by-side adapter designs on the list of things to build in the coming months.

The sizes I have in mind at this time are as follows:

4x18500S>2D
4x18650S>~2.5D
4x18650S>3D
6x18500S>3D
6x18650S>4D

If anyone thinks they'd like longer configurations for bigger mags that too would be possible I would imagine. Like 12x18500S>6D. hmmm...

Not really true, if you look to this old mod you can see that i have made an adapter for the 2D mag.

A little mod is required also at the bottom of the mag switch, i have trimmed about 5mm...and also 2mm of tailcap threads.

I think it's possible to make an adapter for a genuine 2D :thumbsup:

At the moment IMHO some possible interesting configurations are:

4x18650 4S >2D
4x18650 2P2S >2D
6x18650 6S >3D
6x18650 2P/3S >3D
10x18650 2P/5S >6D
