OK everyone,

The package is 16"x16"x10", and weighs 15.3 pounds. Seems pretty huge for a 2D Maglite, charger and power supply, but to get the requisite packing buffers to guarantee insurance, that's what it takes.

I need your postal codes to determine shipping by UPS. United States Postal Service simply uses Country Codes outside the U.S. but UPS uses Postal codes.

The US customers will get a flat rate which will cover the shipping and the back and forth shipping of parts. The international customers will get individualized rates or a flat rate if its within a few dollars, (So far, Australia and Singapore are the most expensive, followed closely by England!)

I'm sorry Ray, this was unexpected, I knew how to handle the USPS stuff, but wasn't real happy with their foreign rates so went to UPS to get quotes and realized, oops, need more info!!!

I'm going to work on the UPS thing now that I know how they handle it and I have box dimensions and weights.

It sounds like zip codes aren't yet needed from US buyers, i.e. the postal codes are just for international UPS, right?

OK guys, the buyers list is closed.

IF for some reason you need to make adjustments or decide you HAVE to HAVE a second light or even a first light, please PM me before posting here.

Here's the deal, my initial impression was to simply take an average for the US buyers and spread the cost evenly.

That means the west coast guys pay a little too much and the east coast guys pay a little too little, but then an east coast guy said that wasn't fair to the west coast guys, and I said the weather hasn't been fair to the east coast guys but that's life sometimes!

That makes it MUCH easier for me. BUT I was going to ship USPS Priority with insurance and then found out that shipping to the east coast would be $43.00!!

Australia is $70.00 USPS Air Parcel insured.

Thus, I'm looking at UPS and to get their rates I have to have Zip codes.
