Old style Surefire M952 mounts.

I stumbled across a couple of these and have never seen a base like this before.

Do you guys know when these were made? Rare?

That's the integral mount MH90 body design. Pre M49 days. IIRC you see them first appear in the SF1999 catalog but the ole brain pan might not be working quite right tonight it could be the 2000 catalog. And I don't have the PDF's of those catalogs on this computer I'm using so someone please chime in if they do know?

All I can say is that it looks like an old tactical mount of some sort for a weapon.
