That is really how to think of the "special" Olight cells, they have the sleeve of an FW3A built-in.I haven't owned an Olight for a while now, but I recall there's nothing special about base cell inside the configuration, just the positive and negative are on the same end to allow for in-flashlight charging with the magnetic base. It also solves the e-switch unreliability issues the FW3A had with its internal signaling sleeve.
