Thank you Don. Very nice result. almost 6 hours!!
50 lumens to boot.
It was not that long ago that we did not have LED's that even had that much flux!!
Thank you for doing the work needed to make a runtime test.
The idea that my orignal Sundrop will go for 2+ hours on a primary is very good indeed if true.
I have not tried it but It does seem to go on and on.

I read this and figured that it was a reasonable question deserving of better than just a guess. I did a run time test yesterday on one:

It looks like the flat regulation went for about 5 hours and 45 minutes. The SOB give you a nice additional amount of time once it drops out of regulation.

These are still available at least for the time being. If and when that changes, I will make note of in in this thread and subject line. I don't have any prebuilt but will build as needed. Once I get over the upcoming LunaSol 20 wave, I will be working on a wave of 3 speed SunDrops. I believe for many, the SunDrop 3S will have greater appeal and utility.
