I came across this company's advertisement in an "Electronic Showcase" magazine that appears in my pigeonhole at work. They obviously have a UK outlet and I might be willing to trade with them.

claims to have white LED's as good as Japanese ones (presuming that they are talking Nichia's or Toshiba's here) for as little as 40p each!
Has anyone used optomanfcorp for LED's before and can comment on thier service for the small torchmaker such as myself? 40p for white LED's and even cheaper colour LED's with fairly impressive mcd output. Not quite in the same league as Luxeons and the like but could be well worth a look! You tell me what you think!

Their 40p price appears to be for 10,000 plus quantities, and at 3000 mcd may well be Kingbright`s:

They're available from Farnell UK at around £3 per piece. Quality is similar to Nichia one.
