Orphan E2e head - what to do?

I replaced the head on my E2e with a KL1 but would like to have the old head/bulb do something other than sit in my desk drawer. Any suggestions? I'd really like to end up with something similar to a E1e.

This is a good question because with the KL1 head on my E1, the original E1 head has seen NO use. I've been wondering if I should sell it or whatever because it'll NEVER replace the KL1 head!

I'm in the same boat. I posted several times seeking to buy an E2 body, but no one ever nibbled.

I think SF should offer bodies and heads separately, for "plug & play" selections.

Either that, or I'm thinking of just buying a second E2e and leaving the P60 in it. That would conform to the "buy both" mantra of CPF . . . "AND, not OR".

You could get one of Doug's UBHs.
As soon as I get mine the KL1 is going on there and my E2e head will rejoin its body.

I seem to recall that someone had a thread long ago about the E-series heads fitting right into a Streamlight Scorpion body...

If you want your Streamlight Scorpion to become a pre-focused light with a SureFire reflector, that might work for you (or someone else)...

Of course, then you end up getting more posts about spare Streamlight Scorpion heads that need a home... LOL...

Doesn't Doug's UBHs require both the head and tail? Of course my tail stays with the E2e/KL1.

On another thread I read that Surefire sells some heads (bezels) but their telephone order folks aren't aware of it, unless you can provide a part #. Is anyone aware of the availability and part # for E1e/E2e bodies/tails?
