Hey, long time lurker first time poster here.

I couldn't find the answer so I'm going to ask the question.

I have a Mean Well Driver LPC-60-1750.
9-34V @ 1750mA 59.5w

The LED is a Cree XTE COB 50watt 5w x 10. warm white 3000k
DC forward volt: 30-36
DC forward current: 1500mA

I have converted a cpu heatsink to cool it and the thermal paste is also designed for the cpu. I don't need the LED to last 11 years either, but I wanted to know the prospects on such a LED running for 1 minute\week\year.

thanks

Did you see the datasheet for that particular LED and driver? Also check Cree's excellent documentation library. There is lots of information about electrical, thermal, mechanical overstress that can damage the LED and how to avoid it.
