Overdriving a Lux - how far

I have my welding mask, contact thermo probe and o-sink going as I type. :lolsign: I'll update everyone on my findings when I'm done.

As a teaser, I can tell you that 230deg.F is very HOT :huh: .

He uses a 'heat pipe', for example, which is a copper tube about 3/16" in diameter.

Is he using copper *tube*, or copper *rod* ? I.e. tubes are hollow, rods are solid.

that would be tube.. hot air rises and exits quckly..
hot copper does not.
