I just bought a P3D-CE Rebel 80L. But I hate to wait around to get the light which is going to take about 2-3 weeks cuz its coming from China, ships out on the 3rd. So I'm thinking about getting one from ebay that here in the USA. I'm just debating and wondering, if the L2D and the P2D are exactly the same with it comes to power? If they are am I better off geting the P2D, cuz it's smaller? Are there any differences?

I think David mentioned in his rebel thread that the lights will be early and in fact are already on the way. You might double check. However, don't let that stop you from getting another fenix.
If you are partial to AA or cr123 batteries, your decision is made for you. You'll get more runtime out of the 2 aa setup but you get amazing light-for-its-size in the P2D. I love my P2D Q2 from david, with the op reflector which smooths out the beam. I lean toward cr123's so I have the P2D and will buy the L2D body and clicky when they are available in natural. IF you like the black finish, buy the P2D or the L2D now, and get the body/clicky of the other, and you'll have a really flexible setup simply by switching bodies and clickies.

GET BOTH, buy the q2 of one and get a body & tailcap of other

What's wrong with me? I just bought a light yesterday and now I'm looking to spend another 60 on another light? I could be doing alot more with this money. I think I'm sick.

I finally received my L2D CE from DealExtreme (took about 20 days to arrive from order date). Mine is the new model with the orange peel reflector. Put in 2 Sanyo Eneloop AA's inside and all I can say is wow! With the orange peel reflector, the beam is very smooth without any rings at all.

This light comes close to matching my SL ProPoly 4AA Lux in terms of throw. Definitely beats the ProPoly in flood. Beats every other light I have in my collection for output. The beam in my old Fenix L1P looks almost green compared to the L2D CE.

It was definitely worth $41.
