P4 vs Q5

I compare Q5 flashlight with P4 flashlight.

All experiment was done under same condition.

18650 battery (3.7V 2400mAh) is used.

Are you sure it was stolen? If so I'd kill the thief and return the light as a present for letting me kill a thief.

From those photos, it looks like the nod goes to the Q5.

nice difference.
i would stipple the reflector and take advantage of the q5's extra brightness to even out the beam.

I also compared two UF lights (both running on 1x 18650) and found the beam patterns and light intensities to be similar.
