PARAT X-treme lights manufactured by Pila

Hi guys,

I just peeked at Pila's website and noticed this news update:

Very cool! Looks like the PX1 is of the more traditional design and the PX2 is a super rugged penlight. The PX1 fits most helmet mounts. I want one but I don't think these are available in the US as of yet. I googled around and it's definitely available in Europe... hopefully these come around in the US soon! The PX-1 retails for about $55 (€44 in Germany). Here's the official website:

Congratulations, it seems that you were the first to spot our brief announcement about PARAT X-treme on our website!

PARAT x-treme are presently only shipped to and sold in Europe. Concerning the US, we shall present the new line to the trade mid January 2009.

So there you have it, we'll see them in about 10 days.

The designs shown on the Parat website are pretty straightforward, so personally I don't think we aren't "in the know" about much.

Yeah, I don't really have any groundbreaking info. I've seen a little, but nothing really of note. I just was asked not to interfere with their big reveal at SHOT.

Unfortunately I don't have a sample in the works for a review. Too bad, this would be just about the right time to have the review pop up just after the unveiling.

p.s. Has anyone else noticed how dudemar, GreenLED and myself seem to always pop up on every Pila thread?

I used to pop up on the Pila threads too, but when they switched body types, I converted to WE to be able to mix/match parts.

I've only got the new body type, though I really like it. These new lights don't appear to be interchangeable at all with the current stuff. Just manufactured by Pila, not really Pila lights.

I think it's because we're the biggest Pila fans on CPF!:thumbsup:
