Still cant get over the size of the Baltic w/N cell body, it's Tiny.

It's going right into my edc rotation as backup to the pacific AA.

business end. Baltic is the only luxIII of the group.

i'd do beamshots, but i can get my camera to take pics
that represent how it looks in real life. Tint of the luxIII baltic
is a creamy white.

on a single nimh N cell it's drawing 540mah, on 2 N cells it draws
750mah..(it's wow bright on 2 N's)... the N cells are interstate brand 500mah, i have about 30 of them from various rc projects. my baltic is SP power level.

Hello,

That sleek, polished, brass Matterhorn is extremely pretty .
I would love one also.

Ps: the other lights are pretty as well... but the sight of that Matterhorn will make sleeping difficult, this night :).

Kind regards,
Joris

Thanks!
they are easy to make from the older style matterhorns since the head and body have thin knurling on both the round body and head. you can pick them
up on the peak sale in the marketplace for ~5bucks each.

just sand it with 220 until all the knurling is gone, then keep using progressively finer paper until the body is smooth..
then finish with rubbing/polishing compound.
it takes about an hour of sanding.
