Just talked to Curt and I don't have all the specs yet...but
the first week of December I should have a Rainier sized torch
with an XML driven directly. The lumens should be about the same
as the El Cap UltraX but with a greater FC-CP output. It will have
20mm optic versus a 17mm in the El Cap UltraX. The CP output
should be 25% more at least. They will be in the standard metals
and a limited run of Ti units. This is a CR sized unit.

Stay tuned for more info when I get it.
Thanks
Bob

Great news Bob- same groove in the machining as the Ranier's with P7 emitters in them on your site?

Rage I believe that the physical dimensions would be the same. I think I will have the Ti units first. I'll put a page up soon with the prices. Also
there should be some El Cap UltraX sizes in the Ti also, they should look close to the old El Cap in Ti which will be replaced with the QTC model and the XML driver.
Thanks
Bob

As far as I know there never was an El Cap in Ti. The Mach 3 had the threads of a Volcan. I'd be interested in a Ti light with El Cap threads if/when this is confirmed.

This new torch sounds great .... If there is ever the possibility of having the Ti tubes knurled and/or DLC coated, those options would be very welcome, too :)
