I just received my CR2 pocket body for my HP luxeon Pacific and it is a very attractive size. Given the cost of primaries I am interested in using li-ion rechargeable CR2 cells - but don't know much about them. I know CR123 cells are often 3.7v (and may charge as high as 4.2v). I'm pretty sure Robyn has said the Pacific is not rated for voltages above 3 volts. Do CR2 rechargeables have the same kind of voltage issues? Any brands/types that people have used successfully? Will they charge in a standard charger (like AW's smart charger)?

Thanks!!

Robyn stated: We do not recommend the Li-on battery of over 3 volts output in the Pacific.

So I guess my more specific question is - would the RCR2 batteries that lighthound sells which say they are "3.0v" rather than "3.7v" work in this light? Or do they, like the 3.7v, actually charge initially to a higher level and then stabilize at 3.0v which seems would be not recommended?

Or should I ask this in the Peak forum?

THanks!
