i know that the modders have routinely created lights that shame an incan, but there were few (any?) stockers that could compete.

a stock tec-40 will put out around 1600lux at 1 meter.

the little 1w pelican equals this!!!

My plots are there for anyone to use for non profit purposes (if you make money by using one of my plots...I want a cut! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif) The runtime plots in the Reviews Forum are for a modified PM6 with a 400ma DownBoy converter with a R2H LS at 6v, 9v, and 12v.

I bought my M6 after reading this review. You won't be disappointed. Yes, I did notice the rough finish on the threads, but since this light is not focusable anyway, I'm not taking points off for that. Also, I haven't tried to lubricate the threads either; I would assume smoother movement with some silicone lubricant.
