Never heard of it personally.

What batteries does it take, and what does it look like?

Sounds like they may have made a special edition or something?!!

Don't know about the batteries but if you go to ebay and search for this number 1080286073 you will see it .

Thank you for the reply Al.

Looks like an older style pelican. Very interesting slider switch on it. Did someone here buy it? If so I'd like to hear more about it once it arrives. If it works I say 10 bucks well spent.

That somebody is me, but I have not received it yet.As soon as I do I will post any info learned, but more info is always helpful.

Thanks for the link.

Perhaps this SwatLite has a twin filament bulb with one being high and the other being low. Perhaps the slide switch made it easier to know which filament was going to come on, and perhaps the reason why it's not more popular is because it was very difficult to make the bulbs or make them stable enough...

I'm interested in your results.

I'm sorry to say that from personal experience, the Pro-Lite 4C is the worst flashlight I've ever bought.

I'm curious to find out why you don't like the Pro-Lite 4c...Even though I don't use it much, I've enjoyed mine & had no problems. The fact it is now discontinued (I think) may reflect it's general reception, however. The thing that prompted me to buy it was the dual-filament bulb/dual postition on/on switch. I wonder now, however about being able to find a bulb replacement

It's far too big for it's output.

And that's my view before I got my first SureFire. The Beams have been pathetic, and would never focus, and dim yellow. I personally like the StealthLite and I suppose I was expecting a real jump up, but was let down so much.

Where-ever mine is right now, it don't got no batteries in it for fear of leakage.

I was taken in my candlepower ratings. Never again will I trust them.

Well I got the swatlite today,at first it did not work. After some investigation is was clear that the former owner placed the bulb in the reflector and replaced the head.Only one problem the pins at the end of the bulb were never plugged into the socket, so after some time straitening those pins presto we have light. When set to the first postion you have a spot beam for far away objects, switch to the second and it is a flood beam.Though beam quality is poor the light output is very white. My new super saberlite has much a better beam, very tight and very white. If I was only allowed one light to take with me camping I would take the swatlite only because it is like having two different lights in one.Probly won't get much use because I do not want to know how much the replacement bulb is.IMO I think it was well worth the 15 bucks I paid for it,if only to be able to say I have one and you don't!
