I have generally been disappointed by Pelican products, including the M10. I hope that the M8 will prove to be different.

I also have been less than impressed by the Pelican M series however I remember a post or comment by Size15s while at the shot show, "Not too bad" or along those lines. High praise indeed. Maybe he remembers the model number. I know I would like to see it.

StealthLites have never let me down.
Pro-Lite & 2AA & 2AAA lights are dreadful.
Always wanted to try out a SuperSabreLite though.
Regarding the 2 cell 123A offering from Pelican. It was the best non-SureFire 2 cell I saw at the show.
It was a proto-type from the pocket of one of the reps.
I asked them to do two things:
1)WATERPROOF!!!!!!
2)Fixed focus.
As far as I'm concerned, if it aint waterproof, what's the point?
I heard ugly suggestions that the StealthLites are not waterproof anymore.
I look forward to it's release.

I love my Stealthlight... it has passed the "scrubby bubbles" (bathtub) test with flying colors. Just bought FIVE more to use as gifts.
