Wanted to share a new light just in! I basically picked this up as a play light and out of curiosity; had to see this programmable 24 modes!

Unfortunately the lens was cracked during shipping. Hopefully it's an easy fix.

First impressions: quality finish, heavy, nice forward clicky, BRIGHT! Great tint and much brighter than my Zebralight SC600w II L2.

I only have NCR18650B cells at the moment, but I have a high drain 2500mAh IMR cell on the way so I can really show it off.

I was even provided with an actual runtime test showing the 3 minute stepdown.

I'm always complaining about mode customization...well, how's 24!?!!? Pretty darn amazing! Too many to pick from!

I already heard back from Randy. He's sending me some replacement lenses and an IMR cell for the trouble. Great guy to work with!! Perfect example of going above and beyond with the lens, detailed instructions, fast shipping and quick e-mail responses. Loving this flashlight!

After using it a bit more, I really like the 10% - 100% | No Memory mode.

Nice, thanks for sharing. It is too bad that the moonlight mode looks to be way too bright at 4 lumens. I would be up for at least one of these if that weren't the case.

For me, even 1lm is usually too high. But this light will mainly be a high-output thrower for me, so moonlight will likely never be an issue. For smaller lights though, it's a must.

Comparing it to my MH20 1lm mode, it does appear a bit brighter.

Loving this programming option!! It only took me a few times to nail it down. The 1/2-second reset time is key; I could actually handle something even quicker but like it as is.

Very nice, glad the issue has been sorted quick for you. This must be a great hand warmer😀 I have an m2 in 4c tint of around 4200k ish and recently an m1 but 1b..........=🤢 for you  But for certain uses i prefer cooler(work uses). I am a fan of the convoy m lights in general, nice size/build and make a great host.

Liking the UI options a lot,i have the 2 lines of modes, one with disco, other low/med/high of which i just mainly use medium 50% with memory or the low 5% iirc. Certainly spoilt for choice.............other than a really low low.

Does it program similar to the 2 lines,on low you get a blink after 5 seconds, you then 1/2 press to change modes........Does this work similar and maybe several presses etc etc(cant quite read instructions )

Might look into this neutral xp-l😎

I left it on for the 3 minutes an surprisingly it wasn't very hot. My new Nitecore MH20 was MUCH hotter; smaller light. I think the big fins on the head and overall bulk do well with heat.

The UI is a lot easier than explained. Basically you tap the switch 8 times fast. Hold the last press. It starts flashing to let you know you're in program mode. Now you just tap the switch again for the mode number you want (i,e, 9 times for that mode, 4 times for that mode, etc.) so for mode 24, your working out your thumb! But like I said, not something you'll have to do much. After using this today, I'm pretty much set on mode #2.

Just an amazing light. Can't wait to touch 1500 lumens when I get my IMR cell Thursday!!!

I just found out this has a voltage indicator similar to Nitecore (i.e. 5 flashes = 3.5v; 11 flashes = 4.1v). This sure is a "flashaholics flashlight"!

Also recevied some more power today to test the max lumens! The anticipation is killing me!!

I can't seem to tell a difference between the NCR18650B and these two IMR cells. I will try them in the dark tonight where any difference should be more noticable.

Amazing tint on this thing!!!

The Keepower 2500mah is the "Higher Drain" of the two, so if you don't see it there, you're just not gonna see it.

The Purple Efest 3100mah will of course give better runtime - But, just because it says "IMR" doesn't make it a true "High Drain".

Either will be able to supply more current than the Pan NCR18650B, though, and with that light I think there should be a difference.

Have fun, and Please get back to us!

That's what I figured. They are both 20A constant (still can't believe this from such a small package!) I'll do a quick test in the basement soon, then outside when it's dark if I have time.

In fact, I'm heading up north for a 4-day kayaking trip on Lake Huron tomorrow. I think I'll load up my Maxpedition case and have some toys to play with in the pitch-black backcountry!

The UI looks similar to Vinh's VNdriver or something like that. I hope it will be standard soon. I also hope more lights will come with XP-L emitter.

Thanks for the review.
