PGLIII Order Recieved Today!!!

Well after waiting for CNI forever and a day, they are finally here. I noticed that some of them have different warning labels than others. I guess as laserglow said, CNI has a consistentcy issue in more areas than one. Heres some pics that I took with my phone.... They do the lasers no justice, but I just thought Id add them. Those of you involved in the buy: I have to work late tomorrow night, so they wont get shipped until Wednesday, but they werent due here until then anyway, so really theyre getting shipped a day early. Thanks!!!

yep... thats how I differenciated who got what. On the group buy that these are for, people bid on the higher powered ones. I never got a power meter, but since it was easy to tell the difference between them, I didnt end up needing one. The next buy I do starting next week or so will just be for the lasers-you get what you get, no bidding.. they wont be opened either

And how much are the PGL-III (blue or green) selling for these days?

Well, as he said he didn't get a meter. I will be able to give a full report on mine with my LaserCheck and am sure some others on this group buy will be able to do the same.

SuperBurt, Great news!! You could always do the green led thing to differentiate if you wasn't sure on some of them.

And I had the same problem with my order, some were labelled not only with the wrong frequency 473nm and 808nm but some read <5mw. Thats quite a ****-up, but on the FDA models also? ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jpshakehead.gif

BTW: they were all green >150mw. I can't understand how someone can see green as blue or IR. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif they must not do much quality assurance.

haha, I saw my neighbor as I was leaving this morning, and he asked me what all of that green light was coming from my living room! I had all 7 of them on to see the difference between the outputs, and the entire room was lit up in this AMAZINGLY BRIGHT green

bert, when you placed the order, were they all ordered >150mw, or were some ordered <150mw? i assumed the order was for >150mw. as your group buy implied.

all but one were for >150's... Arni ordered a >20mw, but that is marked differently, so no worries about getting the wrong one. They are all wrapped up in foam and ready to be put in boxes and shipped away tomorrow!

o yes, nice solid beam, even in a well lit room. Not as bright as all of the pics you see here on CPF make them out to be, but brigher than the pics I took with my phone. You will see for yourself soon enough!

i noticed two of the seven shown do not have glossy tops. why is that?

they all have a matte finish... its the crappy photo.. they really arent glossy like that, but ya i noticed that too
