Photon 3 has arrived!

The AdventureKit site is pretty cool. I just ordered 4 of the Trasar Glowrings. They are only charging £1.50 to airmail them to me here in the US.

Hello, Doug

Mine (4 colors) are about 30-40% brighter than my Navy Luminox watches.-(about 2 yrs. old)
Btw-I'd estimate the age of the NOS ones I have @ less than 1 year.

Doug,

Do me a big favor?

Check your credit card billing and see what the total price came to in US $ after the conversion from the Pound. Would really appreciate it.

Best Regards,

Hi Chas,
Again I checked my VISA
statement, and it totalled $25.40 U.S. dollars....
I don't have their invoice any more, but as I remember it the British price for the set of four colors is: 14.45 Pounds -They sent me a confirmation email stating that there is NO V.A.T. on orders to the U.S.-check out their website today for that price.

Roughly: 14.45 (Without VAT) + 2.75 (airmail) +.85 exchange fee comes out to almost the $25.40 U.S. that they charged me..(18.08 UK x 1.4 exch. rate = $25.+

p.s.-I just now checked their website (nectarine Ltd.) and the price is still the same.......

This one had me scratching my head for years... New Old Stock.

An example of this would be a box of LEDs that came off the factory floor but were never used and sat around for a few months or more - then were sold as New Old Stock instead of being installed in something.

OK, I just got my Photon III, it is suppose to do more then just blink when I squeeze it right
wink.gif
It just figures I got a bad one. So now I have a nice new Photon I

Hi Brock, I just got my narrow beam 3 too...same thing...but if you open it up and remove the batts there is a piece of plastic covering the I/C contact...after you remove this it will work just fine...I think it`s there to keep kids from turning it on in a store and walking away...so only overide will work...and only as long as you squeeze it.

Hope this helps

I kind of figured that, but didn't want to open it up in case it was really broken, then they would say I did it
wink.gif
OK so sometimes I do break my lights, but not yet anyway
