Is it done using splash anodizing? Also, did you do the work yourself?

It's a fun project!! Don has a video on YouTube of how to do it. I also enjoyed the titanium anodizing thread in the McGizmo sub forum. The clip is a diamond etched clip that I purchased from Don. I anodized it yellow and then sanded the yellow off the high points and anodized it blue - it almost looks like lightning to me. I was only using 9volt batteries and a solution of TSP and tap water but I couldn't resist dunking the Makai. My blue was three 9V in series so approximately 27V. Now I want a power supply.
That is one wicked looking light, very nice!

Thanks, yes they are. Check out the REO sub forum on ECF. Like Mcgizmos they have a cult like following, yes they're that good.
