Pila HID?

I was hunting around in the old threads and discovered an interesting find:

In Madecov's post he mentions an HID light... is it possible there was a Pila HID in the works? I'm surprised no one was interested in this!

They expect the bugs to be worked out and have CE approval in NO less than 6 months so it will probably be another year or so.":huh:

I remember PK showing an HID with instant re-striking a few years back. No idea of what Mr. Pila may be up to. It was a while back, so maybe the project got tanked when they parted ways with WE?

I shot an email to Pila, hope they respond soon. Perhaps Madecov can chime in on any email responses he received...

UPDATE: I contacted Pila and they said they're not developing an HID.:mecry:

...however, I can possibly mod a GL4 to accommodate an HID bulb and ballast. I should start looking into this... one can always dream, right?
