I think it sounds interesting, but even for something small like a keychain torch, it much cost thousands just for the raw material. I can't imagine trying to machine that hardness

Late to the party but I believe this is exactly what ironman's armor is made of. At least in the movies I mean.

Well even if its extremely tough you should be able to EDM the stuff.

Would be interesting to learn where to aquire it.
