Please help identify

Any idea what this lantern is? I have been cleaning out the closet and I'm trying to give it away but can't tell anybodt what it is!

This is just a guess, but I might think it's some kind of Navy light (WWII vintage)(square nuts/slot head screws). At least that's what came to mind when I saw it.

It's got that military color alright, andcould be Navy, or it could be a railroad light somebody refinished.

It looks like it may be a Delta Navy lantern from about 1940. Is this your light?
