Please recommend me a thrower for night coyotes

My father in law has coyote problem, they are eating his chicken and tormenting his cattle and killing the calves. I've recruited to help alleviate the singing dogs. I'll be patrolling the farm of several thousand acres with some spotters at sundown their are several ditches they use and they are 6-700 yards long. There is also some wooded land on the back of the property that I'll be checking out.

I have several surefire flashlights but the brightest one being 200 lumens doesn't have the power or throw to go past 100 yards. I would like a light capable of 400 yards at a minimum for positive ID. I would like weapon mountable, but I am willing get to use a less powerful light on the AR-15 once I have a positive ID. Battery life isn't that big of a deal but an hour and a half would be nice. Price on under 250 would be good.

What do you guys think
I have looked at the armytek predator but will I be able to see at 400 yards to ID?

I have an older surefire C2 body is there a thrower head that I can swap out and maybe an extension for added power I'm up for anything.

predator is .25 lux at 400 yards... u need much more powerful to spot at 400. k40vn to spot and a nightmaster vn mounted to ur rifle once the target is spotted.

Is there a factory light capable of this. If not I'll buy custom but I would like to stay with a factory one in possible

Good suggestions!! I may also add to use this fine gentlemen BELOW to sniff out and flush out your victims!! Capo will bring several of his fellow Siberians and his German Shepherd friends! The Coyotes won't have a chance!

I have the K40vn,,,,,,,,,it will do the job...I have several capable stock torches[TK75,TN32,M3X]., BUT THE K40vn is the best one for what your looking for.You can get it under your max spending requirements! :thumbsup:

The Thrunite TN32 gets about 230kcd in throw, bone stock. But I highly recommend you get a Vinh modded thrower. Some already mentioned that, and I'll bet more members will chime in the same thing. His throw lights are the de-domed K40vn, TN31vn, K50vn, and a couple of aspherical models, the Xsearchervn and NightMastervn. The K40vn's throw is rated between 350 to 400kcd, your 400 yard minimum is no problem.

definitely the K40vn. Or, if you want a stock light the fenix rc40 will solve your problem as well. I own both, they are great lights.

Thanks you for the recommendations, look at the k40vn but are there any lights with a 1in body so I would be able to mount it to a rail
