Pls recommend batteries and charger

I just ordered from DX a flashlight that has been been tested by several people to have much higher output using 14500 batteries over NIMH and of course primary types.

It is SKU 16607 Akoray 3 (6 ?) mode, reviewers differ on number of modes.

I currently use RCR123A's so am familiar with this type but have no 14500 size nor charger.

I would like to buy several 14500's and a charger. Who do you recommend as a source?

Maybe a package including batteries and charger?

My recommendation is AW in the Dealers section at the MarketPlace for cells. Since you've already got 123s, get spacers from him, too.

For a charger, hands down the Pila IBC. You can get it from FlashlightZ. You just missed a group buy on it, but I wouldn't wait for another one - won't happen anytime soon.

Saving on cheaper cells and a charger is tempting - don't do it. If you don't stay with the technology, it'll be easy to resell the good stuff on B/S/T. You always find the crap for sale, but not so much the good stuff. When good cells are offered, if they've been charged in a crappy charger, I won't buy them.
