Polarion PH40 VS Polarion Abyss Dual S or D.

A question about the Abyss dual S or D and the polarion PH40

Whats is the difference between these 2 products ?

The Abyss is cheaper than the PH40 but its seems that the number of lumens is greater.

Whats do you think about this ?

I would advise you to wait for a few months for Polarion's new models. I had spoken to Polarion Korea's CEO few months ago and he was saying that new models will be launched sometime at the end of the year or 1st half of 2012.

It's a secret project and no information will disclosed at this time. Would suggest that you wait till the new models are out before deciding. Don't rush to buy these exotic HID lights. Enjoy the PH-40 for this time... they are 1 of the finest HID's in the world !!

Agreed. Bickford, just pick up the Dual S and enjoy its sheer beauty.

True. Polarion, as great as their current lineup is, seem to be having execution issues with new products.

Their current lineup has already been maxed out. Any higher power requires a physically larger light itself. Im pretty happy with the current design.

Lighting them up just makes my day! 🙂

i have just purchased the Abyss dual S, and it has arrived at home but i am currently working away. i will arrive home on the 6th Oct. What i did was get the smooth reflector installed at the factory so i am interested how this unit will perform, sadly i don't have any other Polarion lights to compare to but seeing it is 45 watts on high, i hope it will out perform the PH40.

I have gone crazy and also purchased one more HID light, the firefoxes elite HID, this is a 40 watt light with advertised 3800 light source lumens and 3000 out the front lumens, the Polarion will be better but i am still interested in giving a comparison of beam shots once i have a chance.
