Poly stinger or what?

I bought a poly stinger last year for hunting and got both chargers. I really like the light, its brightness and recharging saves batteries. I am thinking of getting my son and son in law one each for Christmas. Is this still the light for size, brightness and etc. or is there something better? I quite looking after I bought mine. Thanks for any input, Jeff

One more thing, if this is still the one where can I find the best price?

The whole Stinger line has been upgraded with a new stipled reflector, which works very well, and provides an excellent focused beam. For a rechargeable, there is nothing else that will compare to Streamlight's Stinger line.

I have not seen the Poly stinger to compare, but a friend of mine just got a Stinger HP, and it is a very nice light!

40,000 CP, and the same run time as the Poly Stinger. The head (bezel) is a little bigger, but it is one nice light!

I've had my Polystinger for over 5 years and not a single problem.

A few bucks more you can get the Ultra Stinger! Quite a bit longer (around 4") but one of the brightest lights available. Cheap when you consider that a Surefire M6 is almost $300.

The standard (metal) Stingers can be upgraded with the HP option (40,000 CP) but the Polystingers can't (according to Surefire).
