IIRC there was some talk of a plastic bodied EDC (was it called a bumblebee?) a while ago, but nothing seems to have eventuated. Something like a 60 lumen plastic EDC (to keep heat dissipation problems down and increase runtime) would be bloody fantastic. Maybe even a 1xAA version.

I'd really love to see something like this. Since getting a 120P I just can't find anything else to get really excited about torch-wise, but a plastic EDC would have me reaching for the credit card at incredible speeds.

I'm not so sure a plastic flashlight is going to dissipate heat very well. The aluminium body of most flashlights acts as a sort-of heat sink, a plastic body would cause heat to build up in the head. I guess it would be lighter though.

Yes, I remember reading about that last spring. Possibly something along the lines of a 1xAA with a Nitrolon body. Hmmmm..... interesting thought. Maybe NovaTac will get around to that once the hubbub around the release of the 120P subsides a bit. As it is, between the 120P in one pocket and a JetBeam C-LE in the other, I feel pretty well lit.

How about the new Wolf-Eyes Storm or Thunder 3xCree LED lights.... are you trying to tell me those don't get your hand a bit nearer the old wallet? :)
